Sapwood two face, surfaced two face and beautifully figured. There are two areas of wane along one edge of the pictured face and two dog marks on the opposite edge of the pictured face that would yield a board 5 3/4" wide if it were all jointed off. This board would be best used for smaller projects where it could be cut up.
