Our Bundled Lots of Eastern Red Curly Maple are not only an excellent buy but also carefully curated to meet your specific needs. Each lot of wood includes: - Custom Selection: Every lot is handpicked to ensure satisfaction regarding lumber grade and figure density.
- Dimensions: Lumber is always 5 inches wide, extending up to about 9 inches, with lengths no longer than 8 feet. Longer lengths can be arranged but will require shipping via a common carrier.
- Wood Composition: The majority of the material is sapwood two-faced, with at least 100% sapwood on one face, and may present both sapwood and heartwood on the second face.
- Surface Options: Material is generally shipped in the rough as it is obtained from the lumber mill but may occasionally be hit or miss planed to 15/16". You may request that the material be surfaced both faces and straight-lined but additional charges will apply. Contact us for more information on this option.
- Quality Assurance: All bundles are generally free of end cracks and kiln-dried to maintain a moisture content of 6% - 8%. All shipments less than 125 board feet will be shipped through FedEx in multiple boxes. Shipments greater than 125 board feet may be shipped through FedEx or through a common carrier depending on a variety of factors that may affect cost.
