This picture was taken in the 1880's just south of Linden, PA on the west branch of the Susquehanna River. Linden is located just west of Williamsport, PA. Did you notice the boy in the foreground giving you a "heads up" and the men in the background working to free the jam.
Odds & Ends
When processing our kiln dried figured hardwoods I always end up with some "odds and ends" of material that are too good to end up on the burn pile and will be perfect for the right craftsmen and the right project. Items in this category are generally either smaller in size to take up listing space in the main categories, are a decent sized piece but have lesser figure or they have a defect or combination of defects that excludes them from Private Stock quality but could still be useful in the right project.
One thing to note with these listings is that with the smaller pieces the shipping costs can at times be more than the cost of the item itself. All shipping quotes listed during checkout are with FedEx and most of the time I can get a cheaper rate for the smaller items through the use of Flat Rate Boxes with the post office.
