Mostly all heartwood on the pictured face with a small spike of barely noticeable sapwood on one piece. Surfaced two face and very nicely figured. There are a couple of small bark inclusions on the pictured face. This top is made up of 5 separate boards with a few being flat-sawn material and a few being quarter-sawn material. Each glue joint union between boards is strengthened by biscuit joinery with three #20 biscuits. The ends will need some minor trimming to get a 90 degree angle but nothing too crazy...you may lose 3/16" of the length by trimming each end.
