There is a 30" long by 5" wide area of heartwood at one end of both faces that contains a 1" bark pocket on the pictured face that turns into a 3" bark pocket on the second face. Surfaced two face and beautifully figured. There is 36" of wane along one edge of both faces in the middle of the board that reduces the usable width to 5 7/8" at the narrowest point.
