There is a 13 1/2" long by 4" wide by approximately 3/4" deep tailing of heartwood at one end of the board and a 3" long by 2 1/2" wide and approximately 3/4" deep tailing at the opposite end of the second face. Surfaced two face and nicely figured. There is wane along one edge of the pictured face for most of the length of the board that reduces the usable width to approximately 5 3/4" at the narrowest point.
