There are areas of heartwood on the second face located mostly at the ends of the board. Surfaced two face and nicely figured. There are 7 mineral streak/worm holes on the pictured face as well as 56" of wane along one edge of the pictured face that reduces the usable width to 5 1/2" at the narrowest point.
